Apparently you have Trillian. If you don’t, either look here for a windows guide, or here for a Mac guide.
With Trillian, to get to the ECE chat room you need to…
- Goto the options menu and enable the IRC plugin.
- Goto your account settings and add an IRC connection.
- Setup your options as shown below (note the mzima is the same as the efnet mentioned above)
- Click change, and add the perform information as specified below.
If you click the “Miscellaneous” tab in that last window, you can specify the port for outgoing file transfers. The default is 1024, but I’m not sure how to set it to do a specific port RANGE… still working on that one…
